The reviewer process in Zabags International Journal of Education (ZIJEd) is conducted under a double-blind peer review system, ensuring objectivity and confidentiality. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and are expected to evaluate manuscripts within 2–4 weeks. Each reviewer assesses the submission using key criteria, including originality and novelty, methodological rigor, quality of data analysis, theoretical contribution, clarity of presentation, and international relevance. Reviewers are required to provide constructive, evidence-based feedback and a clear recommendation—accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject—supported by specific comments. Reviews must be professional, unbiased, and focused on improving the scholarly quality of the manuscript.

In carrying out their duties, reviewers must adhere to ethical standards outlined by Committee on Publication Ethics, including maintaining confidentiality, declaring any conflicts of interest, and avoiding the use of unpublished materials for personal advantage. If a reviewer feels unqualified or unable to complete the review on time, they are expected to decline promptly. For revised manuscripts, reviewers may be asked to reassess the paper to ensure that all concerns have been adequately addressed. The reviewer’s role is critical in maintaining the academic integrity and international standard of the journal, contributing directly to the quality and credibility of published research.
