It can be applied to various contexts, such as personal relationships, Engagements, Community Service, Law, Crime, criminology and criminal justice, workplace dynamics, customer interactions, online platforms, and social media. In the context of personal relationships, engagement typically refers to the emotional and cognitive investment individuals have in their interactions with one another.
