Zabags International Journal of Economy (ZIJEc) applies a rigorous, transparent, and ethical peer-review process in accordance with internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing and research integrity.

All submissions are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review system, ensuring that the identities of authors and reviewers remain confidential to maintain objectivity, impartiality, and academic fairness.

Each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, methodological soundness, compliance with submission guidelines, and adherence to ethical standards, including plagiarism detection. Manuscripts that meet these criteria are subsequently reviewed by at least two independent experts with relevant academic and research expertise.

Reviewers assess the scientific quality, originality, validity of data and analysis, significance of findings, and clarity of presentation. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor makes one of the following decisions: acceptance, acceptance with minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection. Authors are provided with anonymized reviewer comments and, when required, are invited to revise their manuscripts accordingly. Revised submissions may be subject to further review.

The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, proofreading, and layout editing prior to online publication. All published articles are made openly accessible in line with ZIJEc’s open-access policy.
